I’m a visual story-teller with a deep image-making skillset and my work has been published in the NY Times, Japanese Vogue, NY Magazine and numerous other periodicals.
My first wedding was for an NYC playwright. We had worked together on a portraiture project and she asked if I’d be willing to document her celebration — I said “absolutely yes” and shot it completely on medium format film.
Her wedding was beautiful and elegant, but what really knocked me out was the intimacy. Entering her life at such a tender moment, being witness to the love of her family and husband and the joy she radiated was a gorgeous gift that I reflected back via the images I captured that day.
I’ve since been the documentation for oodles of weddings, birthday parties, Mitzvahs and anniversary celebrations, and in every one, I celebrate the opportunity to capture the beauty, the joy and the story of those magical moments.
