Every morning I feed two cats, two dogs

+ a 14-year-old goldfish. Recently, after 20ish years in NYC, my husband and I bought a lovely old house in the Catskill mountains

Now I split my days between upstate and down

I have a bit of a gardening habit

It started in the Red Hook community garden

Now I dirty my nails digging up my own yard

Gardening fuels my lifestyle work, which in turn strengthens my wedding work

And when the muse allows

This past summer, I had the good fortune of showing a body of new work at the art space Bushel

Nothing rocks my world like an invitation into people's sweetest intimacies 

The opportunity to be in the room

when a mom adjusts her grown daughter's dress, or when college buddies toast to a new life for one of their own...

 

 

 

or bearing witness

to two people as they vow to make growing their love for each other a priority for the rest of their lives, 

well, these things are simply nonpareil

I find it an absolute gift to be let into your most romantic day
